Outdoors
Our playground, completely renovated in 2020, incorporates a sensory and explorative environment for children to play, grow, explore and learn. The many textures and surfaces, from the rock creek bed, running water, sand pit and Indigenous paintings create a green and natural oasis in the midst of a busy suburb. We can also take advantage of the unique open space provided by the peaceful grounds of St Jude’s Church.
Play based learning
At St Jude’s Early Learning we encourage a pre-school, play-based approach that involves negotiating, problem solving, taking risks, trying new things and seeing how things work. Play is an activity where children show their remarkable ability for exploration, imagination and decision making. Children learn about themselves, their relationships and the world around them – and it’s fun!
Our Educators
As Early Childhood Educators we strive to make strong connections and build relationships with children and their families and support their holistic learning and development.
Children’s play is supported by educators who are knowledgeable, passionate and have an understanding of children and their development.
Our professionally trained educators carefully plan, supervise and evaluate the program. Learning is shared with families through observations, photos and daily information
